How to create a shutdown icon in Windows 8

1. Right click anywhere on desktop.
2. Select: New → Shortcut.
3. Type: shutdown /s /t 0
4. Name it: Shut Down
5. Click: Finish 6. Right Click on icon.
7. Select: Properties
8. Click: Change icon
9. Select whatever you want.
10. Again right click on icon
11. Select: Pin to Start.To Restart:
Type: shutdown /r /t 0
